AB editor - can you write a blog article updating us all on the problems, solutions and whether you forsee any further shutdowns.

The most frustrating thing for me is not knowing what is going on behind the scenes. How can we be patient and understanding if nobody is talking to us?

The AB User experience today is awful. Again.
Mine is still everso slow at submitting - is this a general fault or just me?
I thought it was maybe my machine but other sites are working fine. I agree with you wolf. In the times that I am able to access the site, I can't find anywhere that explains what the probs are or when they are likely to be sorted.
yes, that's the sort of thing editor's blogs were invented for.

of course behind the scenes may not be a pretty sight as they struggle to tame the raging beast that is AB.. there'll be charred bones in the gutters...

That is a bit like me in the morning.

It took me ages to find a picture for my profile and it vanished.

There is no point emailing the AB people as they know that the site is unwell. But advising us of its prognosis would only be polite.
It's driving me insane today. I can't get on the new AB at all as it says it's 'Under Construction' and my posts take over ten minutes to clear on here. :o|

Our moans and complaints will probably crash the site.

I feel sorry for the people trying to fix this - but all they have to do is update us and most of us will be satisfied.
