If I terminate my employment and I still have some holiday entitlement, does my employer pay me or do I loose them?

This happened to me a few months back and as Sonya says, they will be worked out on a pro rata basis, as far as I know you have a choice to leave earlier or be paid for them, I personally chose to be paid for them!

Usually they will tell you to work your notice, less the entitled holiday days, rather than pay you for holidays.

I think like other people have said it depends on what you want to do.  You can either take your remaining entitlement off the notice period, or receive payment for surplus holidays.  Best check out www.tuc.org.uk - they've got a whole section there about rights in the workplace, so you'll be able to assess what exacty is your right on this one.
