iv got an archive of 70-odd files with a .001 .002 .003 etc extenstion. They are obviously a split .rar or .zip . How do i out them back together? there are no other files apart from these...

.001 extension is a rar format

 

open the first one with rar/winrar if you get errors durring extraction use a newer version of rar/winrar

There is also a program called hi-join. When you have downloaded it, put all of the 001, 002 etc files into the hi-join folder and click join 32.
