The earlier Deliah books are quintessentially British and a good idea for introducing someone to British cuisine.
I feel sick and dirty now. Like I've just sold my soul. Forive me Hugh, Nigella, Rick - I only meant well.
Please also bear in mind that an Amercian fluid ounce, pint etc is different from the UK equivalent. When I buy books from the states as gifts I always include a printed sheet of US-UK conversion info if it is not specifically included in the book to save confusion.
