There isn't much he can do about it, but i would at least make a big fuss. It may lose him his job, but you have to at least let EVERYONE know what this company did to your son - i would with my daughter. She worked for -- ------ whilst studying and they took the pee out of her. She was paid 3.37 a hour and was working past the shop shutdown but was being paid. I told her to leave - she's not a slave. We aren't rich and she had to get another job, but it goes to show that they treat students bad.
M neice works for the A one and she is a bloody waste of space -turning in late (peed up) etc and she is ill mannered etc., but she has kept the job for 9 months now. They must be blind

The same thing happened to my son who had a part time job at Sainsburys. We did not let the matter rest and we had a meeting with a panel who found there was no case to answer.
He got re-instated, worked for another 6 months and left.
He felt that it was always hanging over him, especially everytime the till was checked.
So my answer would be take it further, requst meetings, contact the personel department.
My son was off all in all about 3 months.

I currently work with someone who used to be a Manager for M. A couple of years ago, a member of her staff was sacked and prosecuted for theft of a large amount of money. She now works in a town a few miles away and went shopping, during her lunch break, at our local M and found him working on the checkouts!! It would appear that they don't know what they're doing!
