s.o.s.
Passengers and crew have been rescued from a cruise ship in the Antarctic after it struck an iceberg. About twenty passengers who were dining at the captains table refused to leave and insisted the ships orchestra play on, as they wanted to experience the last hours of the Titanic. Luckily common sense prevailed and they were eventually persuaded into the lifeboats!
Should they have been left to enjoy their final hours?

I asked on here and someone gave me a website, well I have an order number and I'm relatively sure I paid for something so fingers crossed.
I love music and books. They're my escape, can't imagine never being in to them. Mind you, may still turn in to 'in my day...' adults in the near future! Have fun x

Hope your tickets are ok and you have them in your hand before you go, not picking them up at the arena.
Do very little reading, not into fiction, have thought about the Da Vinci Code, but will probably watch the dvd instead, too lazy!
I did have fun yesterday, I think you might have enjoyed it as well, have a guess.

The Da Vinci Code is a pile of pants but does keep you interested in the way a cheap holiday book does. In the Name of the Rose or The Pendulem (sp) is better if that sort of theme interests you. I struggle with non fiction, I end up feeling like I'm reading a text book and revert to a sulky school girl. Fortunately without the teenage anst poetry.
Sorry, not around during the day at the moment, work/world spinning/chinks in armour stuff. Church?! Well I never had you down as religious, that' interesting, I can't stand organised religion myself (actually I abhore it if I'm honest) but I'm also a little jealous of those who take comfort from it, (like my mum). What were you up to there then? x

At least I can surf on the lake of fire with the decent musicans.. you're going to be stuck with New Kids on the Block! And yes, that was shamelessly stolen from Bill Hicks.
Relatively serious, prayers would help but if you could direct them at seeing through the fog rather than the situation that'd be good! Cheers love, off out, have a good one x

Heaven sounds ok to me, all those clean cut rock n rollers and Cliff Richard accompanied by harps!
Don't know if you went out socially last night, if you did, I hope you were able to forget your problems for a little while, easier said than done I know.
Thinking of coming off here for a while, not enjoying it much, have posted very little.
There are still some great subjects to get your teeth into, but I seem to have lost all interest, a shame really, as there are some excellent debaters on here.
Will post very little now, if any, please take care, hope some healing process is taking place, either physically or mentally.
Still friends, will be thinking about you. x

Cliff Richard and harps?? My idea of hell I'm afraid....
I'm getting there, exhausted and stressed but not as bad as I was.
I'm sorry to hear you're off now, I'll still look out for you and hope you'll pop in from time to time, I'll miss your sense of humour and chatting to you but no point in doing stuff you don't enjoy.
On a side note, I don't doubt there are some master debators on here...
Of course still friends, you take care of yourself love x

Thanks for replying.
I'm trying to get back to where I was, before I found myself too involved on here, tempted to say a lot more, but won't.
Coincidence: I'm a big fan of the actress Juliette Lewis, Googled to find some film info and also found she is the lead singer with her own band the Licks, and played at Leeds in 1996 with the Foo Fighters.
I'm sure you wanted to know all that, no more nonsense for a while now, need a break from it all and not expecting a reply. Friends always. x
