I'm green....!! I'd love to see New York at Christmas in the snow, or anywhere actually, now that I think about it. I've been in Bath Christmas shopping today, battling hordes of people, rain that came across rather than down, and high winds. NOT Christmassy in the slightest!!!!
We had snow in Switzerland (Alps) just over a month ago. -
Hya ET knobbys been placed in the dungeon last night for over posting I think so I will have to speak for him.
At work I pass a shop where there is a snow making machine for sale for only 40 or around 80 dollars and I pass it every day and each time I pass it I think that Ive got to buy that
Its driving me up the wall.
So should I buy it or not tracy.

Sounds ghastly! Not the shopping, that's always good, but the rain. Ick. Were the shops store front or in a mall? (Do you have malls ther?) Pardon my ignorance. I hope you did not have too much in and out. The umbrella becomes more trouble than it's worth.
Aww, I'm really jealous, I love snow.
Would really love to get some serious snow here, but as I'm in South East England it's unlikely.
I've been battling the rain and wind today putting up the Xmas lights in the front garden.
'er indoors then said "Can you clean the windows, whilst your up the ladder?"
My reply was/is unprintable :-)
Lots of in and out - no shopping centres to speak of in Bath at the mo. The huge one that was there has been flattened!! There are some little arcades, and a really old market (very quaint!) so I got wet. I didn't use the brolly or else I would have taken off, Mary Poppins-style. The wind was SO strong! People were sheltering just inside the shops, but the rain was still coming in, horizontally, so it was impossible.

I got a load of shopping done, though, so it was worth it....

KP, If you want the snow machine, why not? Tell Knobby , "Hi.". I heard he was in the dungeon last night. :)

I really must save my pennies and get over there. I have never been and have always wanted to go. Except for the rain, It always sounds so nice.
People from NYC make me puke. They're just so lucky. I would give up one of my organs, maybe a limb, to live in NYC. I think I must have been born there but smuggled away. NYC in snow just makes it worse. Lucky lucky you.
sorry but we had snow in Derbyshire a couple of weeks ago , give me England at christmas everytime........
Hiya ET-is there still ice skating at Rockefeller Center??? How big is the tree this year? ....I am gonna e-mail my brother now and ask him about the snow. Oh how I miss NY winters!!!! all it does is rain down here in Plymouth. Enjoy it-you are so lucky!! :-)
