Stone of Scone. Captured and taken to London and put under the throne in Westminster Abbey, from under which (!) it was stolen the night before the coronation in 1953. Thye got it back.
The Stone of Destiny. And there were claims from the students who nicked it, that the stone returned was a fake. Who knows. But anyhoo - the Stone of Destiny. Coronations were held in Scone.
Yes Edward I 'Longshanks' captured the stone of Scone when he invaded Scotland, and to ensure that there could never again be a true independant king of Scotland, he nicked the stone and took it to Westminster Abbey so any King/Queen of England would automatically be Monarch of Scotland too!!

The stone was called the 'Lia Fil' the Stone of Destiny.

Ireland is also known as Inis Fil the land of Destiny.

It was said to have been brought over to Alba Scotland by the Gaelic royal family..it was the ancient cornation stone.
