Could a Christian be behind these attacks?

Well top of the hater list for women priests/vicars or whatever must be the old islamic fundamentalists. After all all women should be subordinate to me, a womans testomony in court counts only half of a mans (and wearing trousers constitutes cross dressing and therefore the death penalty). Looks like she got off lightly
Crazy people do crazy things and then say it's Gods' will. It is'nt it's theirs. A true Christian would'nt attack the fabric of their faith they'd choose a different diocese.
There as many non-believers in prison (possibly more) than believers. The notion that their atheism drove them to crime is as ludricrous as saying "God told me to do it."
