Trying again with this query. I have noticed that a few
Abers have given Armistice for Q89. I cant seem to find who
sang it, I had Remembrance, I did find that a Marina Raye
had a song with that name but I dont know if she is well known
and please could someone help me over Q78. Tre (9,4)
I still have quite a few to go but will carry on working at those.
Thanks in advance, I will soon be going out to play bowls so may
not answer you today.
Vicmarion - I think you may get more replies if you let people who are not doing this quiz know what question 89 is .... also, how many letters (if known), and is there a theme?
Remembrance has too many letters vicmarion, and sorry I can't help you with Tre.
Did you hit my answerbank server with your bowls this afternoon? Ever since you've been out, its been loading slower, and slooooower, and sloooooooooooooower! You didn't miss anything while you were out! Hope you won!
I have been waiting to see if anyone else had a better idea for Q78, but as I don't want you to feel neglected again I'll make a suggestion.
Christmas Tree. A Christmas Tree is (usually) a tree without a base - ie no roots etc. 'e' is the base of the natural system of logarithms, hence tre(e) .
Sad to say but in the middle of the night I wondered it was endless tree or somthing like that but have searched for songs about a tree and no luck
Anyone done founded in 1892
or
T C T G A B P - in the occupation song titles
Right - having just spent half on hour on this
the top ten acts and I have songs by all of them in the answers are
Queen, Elvis, Madonna, Beatles, Shadows, Elton John, U2, Michael Jackson, Cliff, David Bowie
Looking through the number one hits of these and I know it doesnt need to a number one
2 songs I can find with 9 4 are
Wonderful Life or Jailhouse Rock
can anyone make either of these fit the clue
Many thanks to all of you! Sorry smouse I haven't figured out how to match either of your answers to the clue but will keep on trying.
Also sorry I have taken a while to say thank you but was out all yesterday afternoon and had a shopping spree this morning (just about finished all the Christmas shopping now). One more cake to ice and a few crackers to finish and I can take it easy.
