Teddy bear protest
25 Answers
How many people would like to join with me in thanking the 14 courageous muslims who protested on behalf of Gillian Gibbons?
Marian Cerrah you and others like you have to keep on going with your message of tolerance, understanding and moderation.
!4 today can become 300,000 tomorrow.
I for one praise your stance.

Bewlay if there is in Britain only 14 muslims of good conscience then the actions of those 14 is all the more remarkable and worthy of credit.
Our time on Earth (all of us) would be much better spent if we did'nt allow for angry half cocked, half witted knee jerk reactions to rule our minds, on both sides. I am a Christian and I do not condone absolutism of any ilk. It is only when we as a people (all people) focus on the things that tie us together rather than the things that set us apart will we find peace.
If it starts 14 people of a right mind, then so be it.

123everton - The general tone of your posts is one of tolerance, and intolerance of any who do not share that same tolerance.
Am I correct?
If I am, then I must say that your liberal attitudes are tolerating a great evil, which is islam, and the so called moderates of that horrible religion are apostates to their faith.
The true creed of the koran is violence, and the true believers are those that participate in, or condone such violence.
Tolerance, being all things to all men, has its own inherent dangers, and from time to time, we should stand up and speak out, even if we are labelled intolerant for doing so.

I am wholly intolerant of absolutists, and I find it amusing to be called a liberal. One thing I'm not.
But the truth is my way is right for me, your way is right for you and their way is right is right for them and so on.
But (you can't know this) you're talikng to a man who's pulled a black kid out from race hating mob, you're talking to a man who broke his nose protecting a woman he'd never met from getting beaten up by her husband (aged 16, got no thanks for it either) I've stood in union meetings outnumbered 50 to 1 and said my piece (only to be proved right a week later). I love my country if Sharia law were ever to be proposed for this country, I'd take to the streets to prevent it.
To describe Islam as a great evil will achieve nothing, any right minded muslim upon hearing that first sentence would be lost to your argument, as no-one admits to being evil.
14 people stood up and said "not in my name!" it's a start.
P.S.
