If you have say a 5Mp camera, and set it to take pictures at the highest quality, each picture will be 5Mb. So you would only get 4 pictures on that 20Mb memory.
If you set it at a lower quality the pictures may be only 1Mb, so you could get 20 pictures (roughly) on that memory card, but they would be low quality.
So as you can see, to capture a decent number of pictures you are going to have to buy a memory card. They come in all sorts of sizes, 64Mb, 128Mb, 256Mb, 512Mb etc.
Make sure you buy the correct card "type" for your camera as there are a number of different types.

I think my append above may be slightly wrong. After a 5Mb pictures is taken the camera compresses it into the JPEG format.
This compression does reduce the file size quite a bit, so 5Mp camera image will not be 5Mb but probably 2.5Mb.
So you can get more pictures on your memory card than I said, although the basic principle applies, and you cannot do much with 20Mb and you will need more memory.

Here is a chart showing how many pictures you can get get on different size memory cards for different megapixel cameras.

I tried to search the web for the Samsung D35 to see how many megapixels it is but could not find it. Can you point me to it on the web, or is it perhaps another number ?

you will be able to save a few photos on the internal memory, but to access the will need to connect the camera to your computer, this may require you to install a driver from the CD which came with the camera. However if you use a memory card the photos will be stored on that, and via a card reader connected to your computer you will be able to view/transfer to the computer. When it comes to getting prints you can take a memory card to Boots,Jessops amongst others and download to their machine directly<AS they are so inexpensive(look online) I'd get one or two of say 512Mb
