bagless vacuum cleaners
10 Answers
Can someone tell or explain to me who and why it was decided to market & "sell" the bagless vacuum???
-I spent approx ten minutes brushing a filter outside at our wheelie bin.....fortunately, it wasn't raining- but I could have spent another ten mins. trying to clean it. - and should really have worn a mask!!!!
Bring back the paper (recycled) bags.....! They were much cleaner & easier to handle & dispose of!!!

We don't own a Dyson either- but I still can't see that it's more convenient to wash a filter choked with skin particles-dust mites- hair and other disgusting fragments of our daily lifestyles without wearing a mask and probably goggles as well !
To each his own......unfortunately we have three vacuum bagless cleaners -all chosen by my wife who when I'm not looking will go through this gory procedure inside the house ! thereby scattering all the filter contents around the kitchen.
I will stop now- I'm only ranting 'cos I'm on holiday this week from work....

Dysons and other cyclonic vacuums are utter rubbish. We've recently been given a Vax cyclone, and does it booger work as well as our old Hoover and Henry and our new Miele. I'd rather replace and buy bags, because the cyclones could make you asthmatic.
The only reason they were a boom, was they are 'free' (yes that word) to maintain.

We had a dyson when they first come out , I was dissapointed with it , yes amazed at how much dirt it sucked up but dissapointed at its tacky build quality , We got a bagless panasonic for down stairs and a vax cyclone for up stairs, both have been brill and really beat the carpet , but I have got to agree, the filters are messy when they need cleaning out ....... it still mazes me how much molecular dirt there is to be sucked up ....kids eh!!! who'd have them ...... give me the dog anyday .....woof !!
