If you mean whether there is any scientific evidence for prophecies and fortune telling, then how would you propose science could back this up?

prophecies? perhaps by mastering science/philosophy of mind and language in their essence but is this possible given that they both are in a continuous flux and humanity has to work within the confines and limitations? and therefore can never remain ultimately impartial?
did not see rubys post, and have not heard/seen information re: wizard has anybody else?

Please don't confuse astrology and astronomy! They may once have been the same, but they're certainly not now.
Astrology is the study of the movement of celestial bodies in the belief that they somehow influence Earthly affairs. It's utter bunkum, and there's considerable weight of scientific evidence to explain exactly why (but briefly, if the planets and their alignments did really affect some sort of force upon the Earth, it would have to be either gravitational or electromagnetic, and be measurable on large groups of people over a period of time. It isn't, because it doesn't exist. See here for more: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/astrology .html)
Astrology, by contrast, is "the scientific study of matter in outer space, especially the positions, dimensions, distribution, motion, composition, energy, and evolution of celestial bodies and phenomena." A very different kettle of vomit altogether.

Um, might have. Depends who wants to know. Oh, alright, I may have made a wee typo-ette.
What I *meant* to write was:
"ASTRONOMY by contrast, is "the scientific study of matter in outer space, especially the positions, dimensions, distribution, motion, composition, energy, and evolution of celestial bodies and phenomena." A very different kettle of vomit altogether. "

You may find this site interesting, although you will have to search it for Lunar / Solar eras, and then have a brain like a Philadelphia lawyer to get to grips with it.
Actually you could do me a favour, and when you understand it, maybe you could interpret it for me in laymans terms.
I'm not being lazy, it's just that I've waited for somebody like you to come along and ask a question on the heavenly bodies and our association with them in terms of religion.
