Hi.

We are wanting to relocate in January when the lease is up on our flat. We want to rent again but we have a bad credit rating. How difficult does this make it to find somewhere and does anyone have any tips on getting round this issue?

Thanks.

Shouldnt really be an issue, a months rent as deposit, couple of references, cant see why a landlord would want to do a credit check.
If you go through an agent they will want to do a credit check - though am not sure this goes any further than checking your bank account really exists. I would say go with a private landlord then it certainly wont be an issue, and will be cheaper too!
