Seeing that there has not been a posting on this Topic since 12 November, can we now take it that not many people are interested in politics, and so therefore this Topic heading should be removed from AB?

I regularly dip in, but the hostitily and ill-informed nastines of some posters I think deters most right thinking people.

I think a lot of the stuff covered here (and in CA which I don't really see the point of) is pretty much covered in the News section. The News section does deal with individual stories a bit more, but you also frequently get people posting on general issues. I think it would be more accurate to scrap the Politics and CA sections and rename News 'Politics' or 'News & Politics' or something like that. That's effectively what we've got there anyway.

It should be removed from AB as it is a duplication and it is not being used. If I was going to post about what a mess the government are making, then I suppose I should post it in the sub-section, politics. But as you point out, no one has been here for a month, then I would post under the catch-all 'News' section where I am more likely to get an answer.

A simplified AB with a lot of the unused subsections removed may even run better, smoother?
