I never ever qualify a statement of a man's attraction by saying "I am not a homosexual but ..." - I just don't feel the need. People who know mw know my orientation, people who don't know me can wonder or ask - I'm not bothered, but it smacks of insecurity to remind everyone of your 'straightness' - makes you look worried!
