I need to disable DMA in Xp Pro.
I've been to driver settings but theres nothing there about DMA or disableing any of it.
I need to run a setup cd and i won't run if DMA is enabled.
prev Obliged to use Livebox for internet phone?

be very careful .... and switch it back when you have done the deed (what is it you are installing?)

XP, unlike 98 and back EXPECTS DMA
(98 liked it ... and 95 you could try it and see).

but other aps and utils .... (and XP) will expect it ,,, so your system may become unstable
