He who loses money, loses much; he who loses a friend, loses more; he who loses faith, loses all. Beautiful young people are acts of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art. Learn from the mistakes of others, you can't live long enough to make them all yourself. The tongue weighs practically nothing, but so few people can hold it.

There is probably some value in the 'sayings' but the way you post them results in me feeling very nauseous.

figure - I can vouch for the fact that ruby is not a nice person, a fact to which she has confessed.
She sticks pins in old photographs of Margaret Thatcher, and ceremonially burns the Daily Mail when the moon is full.
It's not her fault, she just fell in with a bad crowd.
Personally, I love your thread. It's like "Thought For The Day," on radio four, but nicer.
