It is filmed on a closed set in, I believe, the grounds of Harewood House. It used to be filmed in a real village called Esholt which is still a visitor attraction for Emmerdale fans.

I think it has alot of its sets at Yorkshire TV which is based on Kirkstall Road in Leeds. The cast can often be spotted out and about drinking in town too.
