My daughter is 10yo and still wets the bed a few times per week. Our doctor says this is nothing to worry about. Is he a quack or is this really normal?

I think you need to switch doctors.  When a 10 year old wets the bed, I am told, it is a medical issue.  There are definitely medications she can take to stop the bed-wetting, and you really just need a supportive doctor who can help you get to the bottom of it.
My 7 year old still wets the bed occasionally and we have put it down to when she is stressed out or upset about something.  My aunt died a few months ago and my daughter wet 3 times in a week, then wet again about a month ago - she had been hit in school by a boy and was scared of facing him the next day.  Find out if anything is bothering your daughter, if not, talk to the school nurse - they can refer to urology clinic where they will find out if its medical and issue you with an alarm that wakes her when her bladder is full.  Good luck I hope she is ok
I agree you need to switch doctors.  In the meantime have you tried to take her to the loo late at night, ideally when she has been asleep for a couple of hours or so, just before you go to bed yourself?  You can probably help her to the loo and back to bed again without waking her up completely.
I suggest you buy a kenal and make her sleep in that
you should talk to another doctor or something. this has go to be embassing for your daughter of 10. if you dont act soon then she will say its your fault and will maybe become very down about it beacuse i mean it is really embassing isnt it! specially when your over the " bed wetting " age. try and talk to her and make sure she is ok with it aswell. hope this helps xx xx
Speak to your school doctor as they  may be able to refer to an enuresis clinic and check to see if there is anything medical underlying too...it may be just that she needs to get into a routine of getting up in the night.
