When I was out with my dog today I thought is it quote at the start of the walk or begining of the walk, what do you all think, I say "start

When you went out, you 'started' walking.
You could also say " I began' walking.

Why d'you ask?

as I was walking back to the car with my boxer she had another whoopsy and I thought she had one at the start of the walk and another at the end and thats when I thought is it start or begining and end or finish, I know I'm sad
