GENDER CONFUSION

I'm constantly being surprised to find people on AB that I assumed where men are actually women and vice versa!Does anyone else mistakenly assume the wrong gender of members?

i thought georgit79 was a girl and was surprised to hear that someone thought she wasa bloke. i also thought fakeplastic was a bloke (sorry!) my name however is pretty transparent : )

I have seen periodic requests here and on other forums for an optional icon for gender, but they have always been turned down by the majority. So it's lucky I didn't try and think of a more original name here at least. And my other forums have a picture of me, which also helps.
