What is Beta ?

Have not been on AB ib a bit but keep seeing something about AB and beta. What is it all about ?

basically Ab but with more functionality although the techies didn't quite get it right so they are in the process of fixing it but basically you could add avatars, private msg add friends and build a profile.

Hi Donegal, it was a new version of the site that they piloted last week. You could add an avatar pic for yourself, add friends, see who was online at any one time and send messages to your mates privately. Was quite good but time started going backwards and there were lots of errors. It'll be back in the new year apparently.
