This is mine -

Atrix Dual Rail 650W PSU
Asus P5N-E SLI Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 2.66GHZ CPU
2GB DDR2 667 Kingston Memory
Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 320Mb graphics x 1
160Gb Hitachi IDE HDD
Windows Vista Ultimate

Mine runs everything I have thrown at it so far, so with that setup you should be OK, however, you have not mentioned sound, if you are going to use a surround sound system, you might consider this - Creative Soundblaster X-Fi Series Xtreme Gamer(56), or this - Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatal1ty Professional Series Soundcard (85)
Only one query there, Does the Geforce 8800 GT support Directx10?
Otherwise both specs are good
yup the 8800GT supports DirectX10.

What OS are you going to install? Vista? If you do then i would get a little more RAM, or at least make sure you have enough space to upgrade later on.

150gb is not much in terms of storage if you are planning on loading quit e few games on there.... some of the latest games need about 5-10gb of space...

just a thought :-) Aprat from that sounds brilliant :-)

Probably gonna be vista, have capacity to get up to 8gb ram so gonna chuck more in when built and can afford, also when built gonna get another Hard drive or 2. this was kinda just the starting specs. will prob end up with 6gb ram 2 raptor 150gb drives and 2 8800gt. one more thing, if i have 2 8800gt cards running sli, do i need power that is twice one card, e.g recommended power for 1 is 400w so do i need at least 800 watt for 2, or will the 700w power im getting be enough?
You need to type GIRLS into google and get out a bit.
