Do dreams really have meanings??

Do you beleive that dreams have meanings in them??? Im undecided.

an interesting question.

it is widely aruged - usually in psychiatric circles that dreams are a by-product of un resolved issues and emotions.

i dream frequently .. moreover, i can remember them very vividly when i wake up.

my response would be yes, they do have meanings, but i'm not quite sure of the truth of it.

Yes, i sometimes think they do.
With me it's like my deepest fears sometimes come out in my dreams. Like i'm being chased or i lose my wee boy in a busy place.

There was a recent post on this topic with a link to a website for dream interpretations & this went through all of the 'standard' dreams like flying & falling etc. When you think about it when your pet is dreaming - could that be anyhing else but based on experience & unresolved issues related to chasing rabbits etc

I have had many dreams , I often have one about a neighbour across the road , just before I get into Bed I look out the window and i think "bet she is lonely in that big bed" ...lol, then low and behold I do dream about her .... quite nice dreams too, although I am married as well , wifey says I should grow up ...lol,
Another dream I had was I had an accident on the way from work , and i managed to get back to work although seriously injured , my secratary was there and she said have a lie down , next she said oh no he is going unconscous, I woke up (in my dream) looked in the mirror and she had drawn a beard and glasses in black felt over my face ...lol whats that all about ???? by the way I do share all these dreams with the people it involves...... except the women across the road , she may blush if I told her .....
