Disk-Cleanup Problem
Hey, im having a problem with my disk-clean up utility,
It loads up perfectly fine, but then i'll select what i want it to clean up, click "ok" then it would finish & close in less than a second, but it hasn't cleaned it?
I haven't used it in awhile, is that the problem?
Help please.

are you sure you have stuff to be cleaned?
the first time ... it will take a while .... but if you don't do the things that generate temp files ..... the next time will be very quick.
Another "limitation" of the XP version (this doesn't seem to be the case with vista) is that the temp folder cleanup will often only "see" files with an extension of .tmp
or sometimes it will leave the .tmp files and take the rest!!
(I've just had a go .... 68 files=34Mb cleaned in about 1.5 seconds)
If you've opened zip and rar archives .containing GBs of .exe and .DLLs ... cleanup will only clear the 16Kb of .tmp files.
(I think CC Cleaner is a little less fussy) .... but this isn't always a good thing either.
take a look in (generally) c:\documents and settings\<your username>\local settings\temp
that's where a lot of it will be
