sparkling water losing the fizz

i drink lots of sparkling spring water but when the bottle is just under half empty the fizz dissappears.my wife reckons there's some sort of gadget that you can get that puts the fizz back.iv'e no idea what she's on about.is she possibly,for once right?thank ye kindly

All I ever drink is soda water and over the past year or so the standard has become terrible. Like you said you only need a couple of glasses out of the bottle and the rest goes flat dead quickly!! Its a real nusiance!!

thanks eurox.maybe a soda syphon might be best.we have on of those soda streams but i cant find a shop that sells the gas bottles.isn't it strange that a supermarket can sell you the soda stream but not the bloody gas bottle!!!

this wont put fizz back in but might keep the fizz in the first place!! i dont know how well it works as ive ordered a couple and waiting for them

I have seen Bettaware sell something like this before that stops the fizz from leaving. If you are going to spend money just to keep the bubbles in I suggest you just drink half the bottle and throw the rest out.
