Did anyone else see this episode? I think this is almost back to being Eastenders at it's best. They can certainly do the one scene/intense episodes, and were helped by a terrific performance by Sonia (whatever her real name is). This has got to go someway to helping the ratings, surely? It had me gripped.

What do you think? Rubbish question I know- apologies!

Yes!  I agree.  It was brilliant.  Natalie Cassidy and James Alexandrou have long been my favourite actors in EE, and of course it's a bonus that James A. is the gorgeousest actor in the world.

P.S. When I said "I agree", I was agreeing that it was a brilliant episode (it was), not that your question was rubbish (it wasn't).  In fact it was so brilliant that I recorded it on Sunday just so I could watch it again.  The acting from Alison Pargeter was also excellent.

btw, the twist at the end (that Martin didn't actually *do* anything in the first place) is what I predicted right from the beginning, although it still came as a surprise when Sarah admitted it.

yes, it was great and i don't usually watch eastenders. best episode in ages. i was sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for sarah to tell sonia.
It even had my brother hooked, who woud never admit it in a million years
I waited all day to see this episode and i wasn't disappointed. Excellent acting all round, that Sarah would give ya nightmares!!!!
It was great, I just kept shouting at the screen for someone to slap Sarah! I did wonder why Martin let her go on and on about the two of them being in love and having a future together without interrupting though.
