Right time to take a preggy test confused!

OK, this may be abit confusing sorry if it dont make sense!
I'm on the combined pill and had my last period about 9 weeks ago, didnt have a break last month as was on holiday, havent had a break in them this month as went for a smear test last week, the problem is i missed a couple of pills & had 'it' unprotected once at the beginning of last month, the last week me boobs have been killing & i'm very, uncharacteristically horny! (sorry about the detail there!), but i basically feel exacty like i did when i was pregnant with my daughter, i took a test today which was negative, but would it show yet, as i havent actually missed a period cuz i chose not to have one, also if i was preggy should the nurse of noticed it during my smear, just a bit confused as i feel sooo weird & am really paranoid as this is really not something we want just yet!

could it be the fact that youve not had a break thats making you feel like you do?

If you missed some and its likely that you are pregnant then Id suggest stop taking the pill until you know for sure. Use alternative protection just in case and continue testing every 5 days or so until you know for sure.

Avoid anything that may cause problems should you be pregnant until you know

Thanks for the advice! I was kinda thinking along the same lines with the problem being i havent actually had a period for a couple of months, maybe a build up of hormones or something! it's really hard not to just keep buying & taking more tests everyday cuz i feel so strange! I will stop taking my pill today & see how it goes! Thanks again

Hope you find out soon so that you can have a few drinks at xmas if period arrives :)
missing pills and skipping breaks can cause havoc with your cycle so make sure you use condoms or something til you know.

Such pleasant things to have to use! will do anyway, no more tiny feet running around my house for a few years yet i hope!

lol well you never know what may happen but i hope the result is the one you want.

Oh and in answer to your smear Q, no a nurse would not be able to tell if you were pregnant.

just dont get too stressed as tht can delay a period too
