I've googled "outrooper" without much success, so may have to take Shaneystar 2's word for it! Thanks, anyway.
Outrooper is in Chambers
It's a big help if you have the Chambers Dictionary as this has always been the cornerstone of this annual quiz.

I've got Chambers, but went for option 1.

However, they do say that equivalent words will be accepted.
