on my vauxhall vectra 2.0 dti 52 reg a symbol of a car with a spanner has appeared on my dashboard what dose this mean ??? p.s i do not have the owners handbook

wild guess here but i think it may mean that its due a service!

my husband says it might be that they've forgotten to reset the computer so you need to get back in touch with the garage that serviced it. Or they might not have changed the fuel filter. Good luck in finding out! hope this helps

It is the diagnostic light and indicates part of the engine is malfunctioning. The Handbook says drive to a Vauxhall agent and do not turn off the engine until they have plugged in the diagnostic tester,
The good news is that most times it is just a sensor connection and nothing is wrong,
