When I download some songs the bit rate is 80 and all I get is noise. Does anyone know what the problem is?

These are rogue files that are put on, Apparently by the record companies to deter people from illeagally downloading. There was a bit on the news about it a few months back.

Bit rates of 128 are the minimum acceptable for good sound quality. If you want better quality but not too large filesize, go for 160 or 192

Not heard of the rogue files. makes good sense, tho. Beware of kazaa's spyware! used i once, and ran adaware6 which found 98 SW files! Obviously i never used it again...
