In contrast to bigmommas cheery banter i would like to point out how utterly depressed miserable and desperate i feel at this festive period. My daughter in law has left my house as i asked her to contribute to the bills for the first time in 18 months, this has split up everyone for Christmas dinner, which is my favourite hour and a half of the year. My friend whose wife died 5 weeks ago is refusing to spend any time over xmas being jolly and intends to stay in his house alone all xmas plus his heating has packed up. I have got problems with my car. A girl i have been seeing is trying to leech money out of me and get her four year old to call me dad( I am 48 she is 30 and i have done my child rearing) i have nerve trouble that makes my hands ache and the cold is making it much worse and to top it all off i have got a boil on my arse the size of a kettle. So i hope you are all somewhat happier than i am, it is not for the want of trying believe me!

i think not logic, dont start wi me today cos i aint in mooood.
You could look at the positives you have in your life, like the fact you ave anyone to spend Christmas with at all. We can all sit here and reel off how tough it will be, and I am sure we have all had Christmas where we want to go to bed Christmas Eve and wake up New Years Day. I haven't seen any of your other questions (don't know what the references to thrush are) but I don't think your attitude is helping you much.

As Red has said, tackle the issues one at a time and they will seem more manageable.

Season's greetings :-)
yes i could go to bed crimbo eve and get up new years day with a big attitude and i dont feel better for tackling one problem at a time so i guess im a humbug as well,ho ho ho merry christmas.
Listen, being alone at Christmas isn't always so bad, I did it through choice when I was 22yrs old. Snuggle up with the TV, a fire or duvet, eat whatever you want and watch whatever you want and enjoy the peace - take some you-time and beggar the rest of them!!
Not meaning to sound harsh, but your friend lost his wife five weeks ago and your complaining about a boil on your house?

Maybe you should think about supporting your friend at the moment?!
You know I meant arse there not house right?!
yeah we knew!!

I know i have presented a mixed bag of questions to everyone, but if i filter out the mischief at least some of you are offering some advice but i should be able to sort this mess myself at my age, still as my dad always said "you can't reason with unreasonable people" how true is that?
Thanks anyway Redcrx etc..........
Are you sure it's not an arse growing out of your boil?

Can you not recognise the fact that i haven't actually got a boil anywhere on my person so you comment has fallen on stoney ground.
