If you're going to get one, get yourself a peyote one as you can use it when it's fully matured to have a very nice trip.

Yes it can be legend, if you fall onto it. It is a cactus after all. Try falling on one and youll know what I mean!
If they are growing in planters: no. If they are growing up through the floor: yes.

legend, it depends as to which part of your anatomy lands on the cactus!
Bodeker, I've never heard that it's unlucky to have cacti in the home. After being on the planet for 43 years and working with someone who is big into botany for the last 4 years I'm sure I would have heard if it was.

I've heard from several sources that cacti plants keep negativity and evil away. Whether it's placed in the home, work, school ... anywhere.
