Just read the riot act with my sons and now i feel like shittee

Fed up tell them off for not tiding their rooms, not doing what they have been told the first time! god are all our tempers like this at this time of yesr! am i stressed! any body got a blood presure monitor!(forget that, maybe a large vodka and irn bru instead!
Apart from that i feel much better now i have got it off my chest!
And to finish this off, A MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!

Got to agree with you about stress at Christmas.
I have never in my life felt so stressed as I have done this year.

Hi Alinic, sorry you're stressed out, but blaming the boys for not tidying their rooms, all I can say is, it is a good thing you don't live with me and my 3 boys.
Talk about lazy, I've just learned to stay cool and let them live like that.
As long as my kitchen and living areas are ok, they can live how they want!!!!

This kind of stress was clearly stated in the brochure when you had the kids. This i know to be true, and the fact that having told them numerous times to do something has done nothing, going ape at them seems to be the only thing left. But they then seem to have won because you are probably feeling worse than they are, trembling, out of breath with a horrid feeling in your stomach. You and they will get over it, with their rooms, go in there with them and just make so much disruption with shifting things and hoovering that they will dread you being involved in their room.

well alinic, Ive had the day from hell as well, on friday my youngest had the vomitting and diorrhea bug, then 24 hours ago I got it, an hour after me my other son got it , at midnight my daughter was throwing up then finally my other half at 3am.

with all the throwing up I feel like Ive been beaten up and I havent eaten a thing today, my other half is in bed still because he feels rough and my daughter and sons are not their usual selves, thankfully the vomitting has stopped, the washing machine is on overdrive and I will be glad when its their bedtime as I have been up all night and working all day :(

to add to that its my sons birthday tomorrow and there is a queue of people waiting to come over to bring gifts ect..
