why at christmas do we send cards to people we dont like , visit people and smile all day and pretend we are happy to be at their house when we would rather be at home ,

why cant we actually do what we want on xmas day instead of visitng mother in laws father in laws , stinky uncle steptoe etc???

where is our back bone? are we too eager to please others?
