Maldon/chelmsford area I need your help

Does anyone have any AMOXCYCILLIN antibiotics going begging. Random question I know but here's the deal, I was prescribed them last night for tooth abscess, popped out today with them in my pocket and I have lost them!! I am crawling the walls and crying in pain. The out of hours dentist doesn't want to know and neither does A&E. I'm begging anyone I will come and collect even if it's that yellow kids suspension (same stuff)

if you were prescribed them on a saturday night (presumaby by an out of hours doctor) why cant you get tem represcribed tonight? I dont know what system you have there but our out of hours on call doctors have various medications available

well yes they will be open tomorrow but I am in such pain that I want them NOW !! Because I have already been seen and prescribed they wont do it again apparently, I wasn't in the mood to argue.

doesnt work like that dear. ive had the same problem with tooth ache and abssess and all that (granted self inflicted!) but through my crazy experiences (where i "never" learn! lol :P) - even if you have these pills NOW - it wont make a difference - AMOXCYCILLIN is a pill that will kill infection, which is why you have to finish the course, so it could take up to 2 or 3 days to even realise a difference, the pain, in other words, youll have to live with for now. btw...alcohol doesnt work!

go to pharmacist and explain situation and how you lost them - they can legally give an emergency supply if they feel it is appropriate (may need to phone nhs direct and give your post code to see what pharmacist is open)

she-ra an odontogenic abscess would not be considered an emergency unless affecting the airway, in which case it would become a surgical emergency requiring urgent drainage and porobably administration of IV antibiotics.

The out of hours dentist probably doen't want to know because they are most probably dealing with severe swellings and/or pain however usually they wouold be the most appropriate people to deal with you FUZZYBEE
A&E don't want tro know because the oro-facial region is not in their remit unless the problem is affecting or lilley to threaten life or is a true maxillofacial emergency
