95. 73 carried by a pair - of large ears ? (5) .......i cant be dumbo can it ? Hes not a living creature !!!
96. Silly to change direction and get to know (retrospectively) a person who invented everlasting chewing gum ( 5,5)
22. They were seen behind the Holly rubbing their legs together ? (8,8) Im sure its to do with Buddy, therefore the word Crickets but whats the other word ??

I think I presumed Dumbo was one of the proper nouns

Qu 95: I have also put Dumbo but not sure of what the connection is with Qu 73, am I missing something.
Qu 96 threw me as the answer is (5,5) but there are 6 dashes for the first word, took me a while to realise that.

Sorry furrypusscat , my faithful computer has been out of action for a few days, so I havent been keeping up to date. I have also noticed the 6 spaces where I reckon there should only be 5, I'm ignoring them !!!! I thought that the mo in Dumbo was the clue - no idea really !!!! Happy New Year everybody !!!!!

Thanks Pea Brain for your input, I haven't been on the site myself for a couple of days due to visiting relatives and Christmas frivolities (hope thats how its spelt)-I'll be glad when we are back to normal and I can resume where I left off!!
