can anyone tell me how to get the recordings from my camcorder on to computer,the camcorder is a 8cm disk type ,computer will not read the disks ?

Hi, to help out a little with this one
Does the camera play back the recording?
Has the disc been finalised?
Does the disc play in a standalone DVD player?
Do you have DVD playback software and codecs installed on your computer? ( have you ever played any DVD on the computer).
When you say the computer will not read the disc do you mean it opens with explorer and there are no files on the disc or the computer says disc not recognised?
