I go to places now where the music doesnt drown the conversation. Someone once said to me that their ideal place to relax & meet would be somewhere like the cafe on friends - cafe perk or summat.
Everywhere seems to be over-run with teenagers these days, Im 43 and also not ready to call it a day, but I do struggle with the 'just out of nappies, cant hold their drink' brigade.
I think we are now resigned to quiet country pubs oh gawd
Warners holiday camp at Corton, you may end up having to help an incontinent gentleman to the toilet though, but you will definitely feel young there, av age 70 at least.
