Underactive thyroid problems affect your temperature control (you may get hot flushes), your moods, your weight gain, your lack of energy and your hair growth. Its one factor that will probably rectify itself with thyroxine

everyone gets different symptoms and your medication will sort them out in time. you should refrain from eating cabbage.cauliflower.spinach.brussel sprouts soya beans and turnips as these can have an adverse effect on the thyroid gland and should only be eaten in small quantitys or not at all..the supplements you need are selenium.zinc.calcium and iodine also vitamins a.c.d.e...as well as whatever your doctor has given you. mullein
