thank u wendilla I had a look at the site and i will keep a eye on it . I had a look for the comet thay mention but unfortunaly looking north from my house at the sky is a no no as there is the biggest well lit duel carriageway roundabout this side of York .I will have to wait till there is a comet in the south then I will try to take some photos of it

Also did you know that you can track the international spacestation here you can get the links from space weather .com. There has been some fantastic sightings over England.There is none at the moment Try NASA INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION and HUMANSPACEFLIGHT (HSF) SIGHTINGS and HUMANSPACEFLIGHT(HSF)ORBIT Next sighting over England is 1st January AT 7 12 AM but the evening sightings are the best .Hope this helps.
