Morpheus?

Some time ago a friend showed me a site called Morpheus (I think!) where other people had downloaded tracks, some of which were quite obscure and difficult to find on the usual download sites. It was possible to download these for free but I am unsure whether or not the site itself required a subscription.

Does this ring bells with anyone?  Find me a link!  Cheers......

Yes, Morpheus was good.  Alas, it went the way of Napster I think.  Things like Kazaa, WinMX and eDonkey have taken its place though try looking up Soulseek for something equally as good, if not better, than Morpheus.  Managed to find an album on there that I used to own that was deleted 10 years ago!

Morpheus was the first p2p program i used, and in my opinion was the best. It seemed to use a very similar system to kazaa, but gave much more accurate results.

As OBonjo says look for Soulseek (get it HERE ). It does have a lot more rare stuff that kazaa, bearshare etc. The only problem I have with soulseek is that a lot of people seem to be offline when I want a certain song.
