Does anyone know who done the original of "Make a move on me" later done by Joey Negro?

Its a 80's soul style song, and the words are as good as the same as the dance version.

Google would suggest its by John Parr, but his discography any other reference wouldn't agree.

Apparently someone named Mark Knight did a song of this title, but don't know if it's the one you're looking for.
