Can I trace a postal order

I sent a postal order to someone with their name on so that it has to go through their bank account. They say it hasnt arrived. Can I find out if they have banked it? tyia

If you wish someone to HAVE to pay a PO into their bank you must cross the PO other wise it is as good as cash and you just hand it over at a PO counter. Depending on the PO and the amount of the PO, they may or may not have been asked for ID
How did you send the PO? Was it by recorded delivery so it had to be signed for on arrival for example - this would be the only way you could trace where it is and even then you must rely on the PO updating their web site
