What a class piece of television!

Apart from the good-natured cameos from all the stars, it was superbly written and acted, and proved the rule which i have mentioned several times before on the AB - comedy and tragedy are a hairsbreadth apart, and if you pitch it right, you can go from one to the other, and back again.

Comedy genius, I am so glad I recorded it.

I've never seen it before but it was the only thing in a long time that made me laugh out loud. I particular the hand gestures being made behind the journalists back.

It was brilliant! My eyes were welling up when he was in the BB house telling them about the penguin thing.

I went to see Ricky Gervais at the Royal Albert Hall in October. If you're a big fan get the DVD. Its hilarious.
Best thing on TV over Christmas. Laughter and tears from me as well.
