I only saw Series 1 of Shameless (other things sort of took over after that) - it was one of the funniest dramas on tv at the time, brilliant stuff.

There are people like that in manchester believe me.... my daughter calls the kids of these people
" toast in the eye kids" kids left to their own devices to fend for theirselves! i always visualise these kids with toast in one hand rubbing their eyes and without shoes on and playing outside the house for some reason
