installing free computer disc

I bought a copy pf Computer Shopper in order to get the free disc - QuarkXPress 5 - but am having great difficulty installing it. I've almost certainly done something wrong already but can't undo it. It keeps saying I need a validation code and although I've typed every number I can find on thed disc and the number given when I registered it keeps saying that it's the wrong number. Can anyone help please?

You have put this in the History section.

May be better in Technology or Computers (which is under technology).
