I am trying to select English as the language on a new mobile phone which has German as default. I thought I had selected English but obviously I got it wrong because it still looks German to me. Can anyone tell me what "Language" is in German and what "English" is in German so that I can still try to put matters right? Thanks.

He looked at me with a vacantly and walked down the bus.

Many thanks Quoi and the gooner. I'll now give them a try.
Quoi and the_gooner are right.
On a mobile phone, the language would show as "Deutsch" or English. Which is it? I can help from there! lol
Yes Max, but it might not say the word "Deutsch", if the instructions are just in German.
If the instructions are in german, it will say Deutsch or Sprache somewhere. It will look like NOT english anyway! lol
I know on my french mobile, on French language, it said Francais. So why not Deutsch? Dunno really...
No, you're right. It SHOULD say something to the effect somewhere. Then again - it might not be German at all! Lol. Could be Dutch. Lionheart seem to've gone, so he's not saying anymore about it!
